At UYCEP Virginia, we want you to feel confident when making a payment through our website. Many transactions on our platform relate to donations, student assessments, educational programs, camps, seminars, workshops, registrations, and related service-based activities. Because these transactions are not all the same, return, cancellation, replacement, and refund outcomes may vary depending on the type of purchase.

Returns
Most UYCEP Virginia payments are for services, registrations, or donations rather than retail merchandise. For that reason, many transactions are not “returned” in the traditional retail sense. If your transaction relates to a scheduled service, event, assessment, program, or registration, any cancellation or refund will be handled under the terms applicable to that specific activity.
If your transaction includes physical items such as books, kits, printed materials, merchandise, or similar tangible items, you should contact us promptly if you need to request a return, report a problem, or ask whether the item is eligible for replacement or refund.
Refunds
Approved refunds are generally issued back to the original payment method used for the transaction. Refund timing may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment processor. Once a refund is approved and submitted, posting time is outside UYCEP Virginia’s direct control.
Refunds may be full or partial, depending on the circumstances. A partial refund may apply, for example, if a service has already been partially delivered, if non-recoverable third-party processing costs have already been incurred where permitted, or if only part of an order is eligible for adjustment.
Program, Assessment, Camp, Seminar, Workshop, and Registration Payments
Payments for student assessments, enrichment programs, camps, seminars, workshops, registrations, and similar activities may be refundable only if the applicable program terms allow it. Unless otherwise stated in the relevant program materials or enrollment terms:
- requests should be submitted promptly;
- missed sessions or no-shows may be non-refundable;
- completed services may be non-refundable;
- deposits or reserved-space fees may be non-refundable;
- partial refunds may apply only in limited cases.
If a program or service is canceled by UYCEP Virginia and no reasonable alternative is offered, an eligible refund or credit may be provided.
About Our Return Policies
Return and refund eligibility depends on the true nature of the transaction. In general:
- service-based payments are governed by the terms of the service or registration;
- donations are usually non-refundable;
- physical items may be eligible for return or replacement if they arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered;
- customized or personalized items may be non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error;
- digital, completed, used, or fully delivered services may be non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Requests that fall outside the applicable timeframe or outside the applicable service terms may be denied.
Return Costs
If a return of a physical item is approved because the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered, UYCEP Virginia may provide instructions for return handling and may cover reasonable return arrangements at our discretion.
If a return request is made for reasons not caused by error, damage, defect, or misdescription, the return may be declined or any return shipping or handling cost may be the customer’s responsibility, where applicable.

To request review of a return, refund, or cancellation, please contact UYCEP Virginia directly and include:
- full name;
- email address used for the transaction;
- payment date;
- amount paid;
- program, service, or item involved;
- reason for the request;
- any supporting screenshots, photos, or documents.
We may ask for additional information before making a decision.
Exchanges and Replacements
If your transaction included a physical item and it arrived damaged, defective, broken, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Where appropriate, UYCEP Virginia may offer one of the following:
- replacement of the same item;
- correction of the order;
- refund;
- return plus reorder, if replacement is not practical.
Replacement is generally limited to eligible physical items. Service-based transactions, donations, and most registrations are not exchanged in the same way retail merchandise is exchanged.
If a replacement is approved, the original item may need to be returned first, depending on the type of item and the circumstances. If the original item is not returned when requested, a replacement may be canceled or a refund may be denied.
Check the Status of Your Refund
If you have already received confirmation that a refund was approved, but the funds have not yet appeared, first allow reasonable processing time for your bank or card issuer. If the refund still does not appear after that period, contact us and we will help verify the refund status from our side.
Warranty
UYCEP Virginia does not generally provide a product warranty program unless a specific item or program expressly includes one. If your concern relates to defective physical materials provided as part of a UYCEP Virginia transaction, please contact us and we will review the issue under the applicable return, replacement, or program terms.
For service-based transactions, our obligation is generally limited to reviewing whether the service was provided as described under the applicable enrollment or program terms.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy is intended to explain how UYCEP Virginia generally handles returns, cancellations, replacements, and refunds. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable Virginia law, federal law, or other applicable consumer protection laws.
Duplicate, Incorrect, or Unauthorized Charges
If you believe you were charged more than once, charged the wrong amount, or charged without authorization, please contact us promptly. We will review the transaction and, where appropriate, issue a correction, refund, or other adjustment.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a registration, service, or eligible transaction, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation eligibility depends on the transaction type, the time of the request, whether capacity was reserved, whether materials were prepared, and whether any part of the service has already been delivered.
Third-Party Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe. Even when a refund is approved by UYCEP Virginia, the final posting time is subject to the policies and processing timelines of the payment provider and the original payment method.
